Meet Niki Doshi- the Creative Brain behind Thread Game
At the age of 21, Niki stepped foot into the glamorous world of fashion, forging designs that harmonized with both the past and the present. From the forecourts of Gujarat’s iconic fashion houses to contemporary couture, her designs captured attention, not for their showy glamour, but for their quiet sophistication and thoughtful construction. To Niki, fashion was never merely about shapes and stitching. For her it was revival, a respectful revival of India’s legacy of textiles and bestowing it a place in modern-day closets. After having spent years in the industry, Niki decided on building something of her own in 2017, after all the effort would yield a result meant to endure. Thus was born Thread Game. A label that not only pride itself in being organic and premium, but also a carrier of the spirit of hand-woven opulence. With each garment, each weave, each stitch, Niki makes sure that sustainability is not a buzz word but the starting point.
